I have to admit I have been a bit back and forth on the whole "word of the year" thing... On one hand, I like the idea of having a central focus or a beacon to come back to and guide you through the year... On the other hand, I've never been a big fan of labels because I find they can be very limiting, and sometimes paralyzingly dangerous.
But, when pondering it at the beginning of 2015, there was one word that I kept coming back to. Then, a dear friend sent me an eerily word-relevant email that seemed like divine intervention that the word that kept popping into my head was truly meant to be...
So, without further ado, I am officially announcing that my word of the year is: MAGIC!

That sounds like a perfect word to me! There is magic alk around us if we bother to look for it. I really love these graphite with colourful background illustrations you're doing at the moment. The rabbit is fabulous. Happy New Year. X
