ReplyDelete@Rhonda & @Netty: I painted these pages using a square stamp I cut from a piece of my favorite industrial foam :)
your mosiacs are so happy and colorful, I'm thinking they would make beautiful fabrics. Thanks for telling us how you did it as well, I was thinking you used a brush for each square.

I love the colors of your mosaic papers Kirstin! How fun that today is also our first "Muse Mosaic" on Mortal Muses, mosaics are in the air!
ReplyDeleteyummy, yummy, yummy. i love that the squares are painting on the same color background. they would look so very different on a white background, which is probably what I would have done if i'd thought to do such a thing. so deceptively simple, but each square is different from the last. love them.
ReplyDeleteExcellent mosaics, beautiful color studies, I love the beauty and richness of tones in each color.
ReplyDeleteGreat mosaic papers & so kind of you to share with everyone. I love painting background papers. I often create them when I've left over paint and also when I just feel the need to experiment & get messy. As you may guess this means mine are not as neat & professional as yours. Lol. :-) But I do have a large supply of home made papers that can get unruly at times :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat to join in with PPF again this week. It may take me a while to visit everyone because of house full of kids Friday & out this afternoon (Sat) but will get round & enjoy over next couple of days.
Kat Xx
