we've had a rainy few days in the woods of Maine and there are slugs everywhere. I will try to picture them spreading joy wherever they go and maybe I will stop being so grossed out. that class looks really cool. it's very tempting to sign up and devour it over this next week of vacation. how did you like it?
This is very cute and such a positive message! If only bugs were as sweet and adorable in real life, like Karen Isaacson said, I wouldn't be so grossed out or terrified of them. I remember when I was little, my dad would somehow find tiny little snails outside and he would bring them in and show me and let's just say I did not like them! They don't look like this! It's amazing how an artist can take something that is ugly or gross in real life and make it look so beautiful or loveable in a painting, drawing or graphic. Very admirable!
Anyway, my name is Sarah, I am a new follower, visiting and commenting for the first time. I'm an art lover, I have lots of respect for artists and the arts, but a little envious at the same time. Individuals like you were given a special gift, that I think a lot of us are envious of. I couldn't do what you do, to save my life. Then again, if I were as talented as you or other amazing artists, I might not appreciate or respect art as much as I do.
Well, I will quit babbling. I've had a little too much coffee this morning and it has turned me into quite the chatterbox. If I get on the subject of art, I can't stop!
I would love to work with you sometime in any way I can. I'm always looking for artists and creative people to work with and feature. My blog is Skylar Magazine, feel free to stop by. If you ever want to guest blog, be featured, or want to collaborate on a project or work together in some way, let me know:)
so sweet!
