Mr. Toast's Christmas Tea

The view from my my window last night...

It was a winter wonderland (as long as I was looking from under a fuzzy blanket in the comfort of my living room)!
Today I am trading the snow for... well, more snow.  The location:  Torosay Castle, Scotland.  Today is Mr.Toast's Virtual Christmas Tea Party!

I tried to persuade Mr. Toast (of Creative Tuesday fame) to consider a more tropical locale (who doesn't enjoy iced tea poolside?!?)  But apparently he had his heart set on a more classically (Christmas-sy) beautiful location.  Ah well, I'm sure it will be wonderful - I hear he's a marvelous host!

I love, love, looove vintage clothing, and this flocked and glittery dress has 'celebrate' written all over it.  I hope you are able to stop by Mr.Toast's blog to join in the fun!

  8. Love the tree photos! They make winter look good! :) (Even though I really wish it were spring and it was cherry blossoms instead of snow on the branches).

  10. Yes, a beautiful dress indeed. I'm soooo glad the ice and snow didn't keep you away. But, tell me what happened to you after ytou ran outside to check what was going on? Maye one of those highland lads whisked you away? Well, I do hope you were kept in good company or I would feel horrible. Anyway, you were such fun at the Tea. Thank you so much for all you added to make it a huge success for all. Speaking of that, I'm adding this post to my sidebar now. Playing a wee bit of catch up here you know!

P.S. Who doesn't like poolside events? Well, me for one. I try to avoid the sun mos tof the time..even tough I must admit I tan very well indeed. :)
