Do You See What I See?

This could be an average, ordinary photo of a local highway. Or it could be...

The photo of a snail about to cross the road.  (I just hope he waits until traffic slows down!)

I saw this "snail tree" while driving on the highway a few weeks ago.  My understanding husband, Bob, found a safe place I could take a photo of it... There's nothing like dragging my family into my crazy, right?!? Ha!

I will file this image away and someday it may become the subject of a drawing or painting because...

  12. LOL, that is awesome.

It's amazing though you can drive past the snail 100 times and then only just see it. And then its the only thing you see.

I love it and I love the reminder to be open every day.

  14. I honestly believe with my whole heart that it is our job to drag our family into our crazy at all times... and so glad the poor chicken got a day off!!!

  15. And to think I didn't see the snail until you drew it. Now I see it in the first photo and it's all I see. Amazing how we have tunnel vision, even in art. And if I had a family, I would probably drag them into my crazy, too! It is definitely something I have been known to do.
