(prismacolor pencils)
Remember the process I told you about in my last post?
It works with paintings too!
For today's faces, I printed out copies of an underpainting I created last August...

(prismacolor pencils, watercolors, white gel pen)
And, started playing with the possibilities!
This is quite brilliant, Kristin. LOVE your ideas and glad you share them with us. :)
ReplyDeleteCreativity at its best, Kristin! I really like the whitened highlights on this one.
ReplyDeleteI remember that lovely girl with specs, so unusual in art. I often print copies of a drawing on light card, but am mystified by your background of newsprint or bookprint collage. Did the pencil work on top of the paper?. Really effective, I love it, and the white webs.
ReplyDeleteI'll show this to Dev - he loves his Prismacolour pencils.
Thanks for such lovely comment on my blog. XX
Love your work, and how you use the pencils.
ReplyDeleteHave you tried Caran D'Ache Supracolor Soft - these have become my favourite pencils now.
(This comment is by Dev, my hub - he cant post a comment himself as he doesn't have a blog or Google account, but he always admires your work so much. Jez)
