(Tyler loves you)
Yesterday, as I sat scanning my dove drawings into the computer, I listened to the joyful sounds of Tyler playing in the other room. After awhile the playful noises stopped, which made me curious
(and admittedly a little nervous)...
"T-man?"
"Yeah?"
"What are you doing?"
"Writing you a note."
The next sound I heard was the sound of five year old footsteps fast approaching. Tyler appeared in the doorway with a smile on his face and an index card in his hand. I cried great big fat happy tears at his pure and simple goodness.
My sweet sweet boy,

ReplyDeleteThat is the sweetest! Worth framing, I'd say. Tomorrow, my daughter turns 18. That note with just get sweeter and sweeter as the years pass.
ReplyDeleteKristin, that's sooo sweet.
ReplyDeleteThat is the best note ever! My youngest is 5 too so I know just how precious that note is. So much effort for a 5 year old to get those letters out and the pride they feel once they show you their accomplishment. That's a keeper for sure!
ReplyDeletethis is too cute! :-)

ReplyDeleteA Very poetic man! A true precious keep sake Kristin. Our sons share the same name and nickname, only mine is a grown man but still very much my little boy. Adore these moments ....maybe placing the tiny love note in a bottle and sealing it would be such a great visual keep sake. ...time capsule.
