Presents...
You're invited to opening night:
November 1st, 2010
(Bring your friends!)
The current theme over at Creative Tuesday is curtains. Since I have Halloween on the brain (and 30 in 30 for 30, of course) this is what I came up with. Be sure to stop by Mr. Toast's blog to see what other curtain-inspired artwork was created!
I've had some fun suggestions for 30 in 30 for 30, but I'm still trying to think of some more ideas. If you think of anything let me know... the painting starts on Monday (yikes)!
Wow. Your drawing is so detailed and I love the idea of incorporating 30 in for 30, I want to be apart of Creative Tuesday! This sounds like a lot of fun.

ReplyDeletemonster theater...SO cute!
ReplyDeleteoh stage curtains, what a wonderful idea! Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteWow, I love this drawing. There is a lot to see and discover. First I thought I liked the three-eyed monster best, then the snake etc. The snake IS cute though. Whooo, and who might hold the last 30....
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling way to share your idea of "Curtain" I'm sure the show will be a hit!
ReplyDeleteI'm on my husband's computer, and it's signing him in.... this comment is from Wanda.
This is so charming and clever. I was wondering if anyone would use stage curtains for CT's curtains theme. I was leaning that direction myself but did a theater theme for the last CT so I went in a different direction this time. Very nice work!
ReplyDeleteI think I will always love your drawing style. Such strength and character, and your word play is always wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI've added your button to my blog and wish you the best. I too will be attempting the Art everday month challenge, but I don't have any high hopes of achieving with my current crazy schedule, but I will love to see what your skilled hands can come up with.
Thanks for sharing.
Nutty

good luck! :)
