A Birthday Week's Worth Of Index Cards

ICAD #s 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, and 53
July 17th - 23rd, 2012
"Tyler's Birthday Week 2012"

This past week, Tyler turned six - Hooray!  (What a fun age to be!)  In honor of his "Birthday Week" (we celebrate birthday weeks at the Dudish house), I created a series of index cards in remembrance of the 7(+) day celebration.

I have been a fan of Aimee from artsyville for ages, and since I consider her to be the Queen of Lists, I thought I would turn to her delightful doodles as a source of inspiration.  I'm glad I gave it a shot, and this will be a great list to look back on when Tyler is older, but I will definitely be leaving this kind of doodling to the expert!

If you haven't taken a trip to artsyville yet, be sure to stop by... Aimee just completed a book that is completely hand drawn and absolutely amazing!

(There is only 1 more week of the ICAD challenge!  Where has the time gone?!?)

  2. Wow! And I bet you've still got energy left at the end of that marathon week. Late happy birthday to Tyler, what a lucky star he was born under to have you and his dad for parents. It's my birthday soon so I'm going to ask for a birthday week from my beloved. Loved all the cards and how much more memorable as keepsake mementos than mere photos.

  3. WOW! Now that's what I call a celebration! Happy times for a whole week, Tyler must have had a ball and I love the index cards. Show them to Tyler when he's twelve and see if he remembers this birthday week. Bet he does.
