Monsterpiece Theatre

You're invited to opening night:
November 1st, 2010
(Bring your friends!)

The current theme over at Creative Tuesday is curtains.  Since I have Halloween on the brain (and 30 in 30 for 30, of course)  this is what I came up with.  Be sure to stop by Mr. Toast's blog to see what other curtain-inspired artwork was created!

I've had some fun suggestions for 30 in 30 for 30, but I'm still trying to think of some more ideas.  If you think of anything let me know... the painting starts on Monday (yikes)!

  1. Wow. Your drawing is so detailed and I love the idea of incorporating 30 in for 30, I want to be apart of Creative Tuesday! This sounds like a lot of fun.

  2. Nice drawing and very fun..too.!This 30 in 30 for 30 sounds great..I need to get into something..I dont know what yet but Im thinking..!You Inspire...!

  3. What a wonderful monsterpiece theatre!! Quite the wonderful cast of ghouls!

    You're taking requests?? Hmmm....

Something spacey to go with the wonderful Moon in your banner??

  4. heehee! Love your monster theatre! Blimey is that November already?! Can't wait to see your wonderful creations :)x

  5. Wow, such a detailed wonderful sketch! x

  6. Great stage and monsters! I love monsters!! And how cute is that little spider!! Your 30 in 30 for 30 sounds amazing! I can't wait to see what you create. Best of luck!!

  7. Kristin,
Yay, Monsterpiece Theater, how creative! Just love the giant hand coming out from behind the curtain, too! Another great piece from you! I can not wait to see what you do with the 30 in 30....looking forward to following along with you! xxoo

  8. Kristin, that is so darling adn quirky funny too. Another great contribution here. thank you. I so enjoy this. :)

And, VERY excited to see what you can do and IF you can really do it --the 30 paintings in 30 days, each only at $30. What a brilliant idea, albeit soudns VERY exhausting. I iwll be checking in adn to help you along, am going to add your little icon and code on my sidebar right after this. Cehck for it there.

Good luck, dear Kristin! I'm so excited for you1 Oh, and I so need to get my etsy up too. I don't think I am up to such a challenge but love the idea of it.

  9. Love it! Great fun and wonderful detail.

  10. Great entry. I love your drawings. I really need to practice my drawing more. I just pick up paint and start to splash and much of a detail person. Great job.

  11. Great job, Kristin!I love the curtains!:))))

  12. oh stage curtains, what a wonderful idea! Happy Halloween!

  13. Wow, I love this drawing. There is a lot to see and discover. First I thought I liked the three-eyed monster best, then the snake etc. The snake IS cute though. Whooo, and who might hold the last 30....

  14. What a darling way to share your idea of "Curtain" I'm sure the show will be a hit!

I'm on my husband's computer, and it's signing him in.... this comment is from Wanda.

  15. This is so charming and clever. I was wondering if anyone would use stage curtains for CT's curtains theme. I was leaning that direction myself but did a theater theme for the last CT so I went in a different direction this time. Very nice work!

  16. I think I will always love your drawing style. Such strength and character, and your word play is always wonderful.

I've added your button to my blog and wish you the best. I too will be attempting the Art everday month challenge, but I don't have any high hopes of achieving with my current crazy schedule, but I will love to see what your skilled hands can come up with.

    Thanks for sharing.

    (up late)
